With the International break over, Peterborough United travel to the North West looking for their first League points of the season having lost all four games so far.

Burnley will also be looking to improve on their points return having won just one League match this season while losing the last three.

TEAM NEWS

Burnley

The Clarets expect to have forward Martin Paterson [pictured below] back in contention for a starting spot as one-time Posh target Eddie Howe looks to bolster his forward line. Paterson should line-up alongside the dangerous Charlie Austin who has already helped himself to four goals this season.

Paterson dropped out of the Northern Ireland squad this week to concentrate on building up his fitness, but two other Burnley players were away on International duty. The fitness of both Sam Vokes and David Edgar will be assessed prior to the game.

Peterborough United

Posh have been hit hard by injuries so far this season but things are looking better on the injury front. Darren Ferguson welcomes back midfielders Danny Kearns and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing to the squad while Craig Alcock has had an additional two weeks to build up his fitness following a pre-season injury.

Midfielder Lee Frecklington is also in contention for a start but it could be new signing Kane Ferdinand [pictured below] that gets the nod to make his Posh debut in midfield following a decent showing in the mid-week reserve match against Luton Town.

Posh had just one player away on International duty and that was 18-year-old Kgosi Ntlhe. He was away with the South Africa squad that lost 1-0 to Brazil before beating Mozambique 2-0.

Ntlhe landed back in the country on Thursday and will be assessed by the club before Ferguson chooses his team for this vital match.

Vital Posh predicts the starting line-up will be:

Olejnik

Little, Brisley, Zakuani, Alcock

Bostwick    McCann
Tomlin        Ferdinand        Boyd

Barnett

PREDICTION

Both teams are desperate for points to kick-start their season and with improved performances by Posh, it could turn out to be an open and entertaining match.

Even though Posh have failed to score in their two away matches so far this season, they are due some luck in front of goal and hopefully it`ll start today.

Vital Posh predicts an entertaining draw: 2 – 2.
