Vital Posh looks at the form of both Cardiff City and Peterborough United ahead of the npower Championship clash in South Wales.

Cardiff left London Road earlier in the season following a 4-3 defeat thanks to a 93rd minute goal from Paul Taylor for the hosts. They have since been on an incredible run that has seen them lose just three League games since! The Bluebirds have lost two on the bounce though.

Posh`s sellout game against West Ham United at the weekend fell victim to the freezing temperatures at the weekend when it fell to -15 at one point. Prior to that, they had halted a run of four defeats in all competitions when they drew 1-1 at play-off chasing Burnley.

Cardiff City

Cardiff have had a disastrous February losing both games so far. Prior to that, they`d lost just one game out of the previous 16 matches. During that run, they won nine games and drew six.

Before the Bluebirds went on that incredible run, Posh were the last team to beat them 4-3 at London Road.

So far this season at home, Cardiff have won nine, drawn two and lost three.

They`ve scored 28 goals at home this season, which is the same amount as Posh have scored at home, while conceding 19 on the way.

Top League scorer for Cardiff is Kenny Miller with 9 goals so far this season. Peter Whittingham is just one goal behind Miller.

The Bluebirds are in 4th place with 50 points from 30 games. They are five points from an automatic promotion place but just two points ahead of Reading who are just outside the play-off places.

So far this season away from home, Posh have won three, drawn five and lost seven.

Posh have netted 18 times on their travels this season, conceding 23 goals on the way.

Top scorer is skipper Grant McCann who has scored 8 goals this season. Paul Taylor and Emile Sinclair are hot on his heels with seven goals each.
