We all know how important Peterborough United midfielder Marcus Maddison has been to the team and that a number of teams have shown an interest in the player, but he’s not the only Posh midfielder in demand!
The Football League Zone have tweeted saying Championship clubs Nottingham Forest, Ipswich Town and Bristol City are taking a keen interest in Gwion Edwards and while Posh Chairman Darragh MacAnthony hasn’t scotched the rumours, he did confirm, as usual via Twitter, that the club were working on a new deal for one of their star men…
Working on new deal for Gwion but of course there is interest in him as expected. Doing our best on this one. https://t.co/ITJ9d1phxA

Losing Gwion would be a big blow for Posh as he brings such energy to the side and is often a constant thorn to the opposition. If he could just stay injury free then he could not only be a game changer but he could be the difference between finishing where we did this season in 9th place and the play-offs.
