Danny was told by Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson last week that his services were no longer required, and this has disappointed him even more than it usually would’ve (being told you can leave) as he doesn’t feel he was given a fair chance: ‘I’ve always been happy at Peterborough and I’m disappointed I didn’t play a major part in them getting promotion,’ Crow told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire. ‘I’ve been told I haven’t got a future there and it’s hard to take in.

Crow started the season with Posh, playing some matches and scoring goals then he was sent out on loan to Notts County in October, he added: ‘I was there at the start of the season and I managed to get a couple of goals and I got a couple of starts and I though I was back in there.

‘All of a sudden I was sent out on loan to Notts County and I don’t know what the reason for that was.

‘It was quite annoying and frustrating for myself.

He must now find himself a new club, but the 22-year-old isn’t going to rush into anything, even though he feels Posh want him gone as soon as possible: ‘Peterborough have told me they want me to go and I think they want me out of the door as quickly as possible.

‘But I’ve got to think about myself and my family, it’s not easy just to move away. The season’s just finished and I’m already getting told to go here and there.

‘All I want to do it relax and talk about things with my agent and family and then whatever arises does.’

Were Peterborough right to let Crow go, and was he right to express his disappointment?
