Goalkeeper Joe Day has joined Blue Square Premier League side Alfreton Town on a one-month loan deal.

Joe was back-up keeper to Paul Jones at the end of last season and start of this season, but with the return from injury of Joe Lewis, his chances have now been restricted.

Joe was signed from Rushden and Diamonds last season and will hope to make his debut on Saturday against Kettering Town.

He will also be available for the games against Lincoln City, Cambridge United, Mansfield Town and Fleetwood during his month loan.
