Double Delight For Strike Pairing

|

Since the end of last season, the talk was about who Posh would get in to replace 33-goal striker Jack Marriott. After five League matches, I think we know the answer after the front pair of Matty Godden and Nottingham Forest loanee Jason Cummings both added two more goals to their tally. Godden has now got four goals this season with Cummings with six goals already!

This was another performance from Posh which gave the majority of possession to the opposition but they just picked them off on the counter-attack with ease. If this what we can expect from the majority of games this season? If it works, then why not?

Goalkeeper Aaron Chapman was hoping to claim his second clean sheet of the season but that was denied when the Pilgrims nodded in a consolation goal in the first minute of added time. Posh still had the last laugh though when scoring their fifth goal of the game in the 94th minute.
