Darren Ferguson has decided that Claude Gnakpa and Danny Crow are surplus to requirements, so the Peterborough boss has decided to let the pair go leave London Road.

Gnakpa has only been with the club for the one season, but as he was unable to agree new terms with the club, with it believed that he wanted to become the clubs highest paid player, Ferguson is letting him go: ‘We made him a good offer as he has played well for us this season, but if players think we will meet all their demands then they are wrong,’ Ferguson told the official website. ‘I thank him for all his efforts but he won’t be here next season.’

On Crow, who has been on loan with Notts County for most of the season, he added: ‘Danny is surplus to requirements at this football club and is available.’

These two will not be the only casualties, with Ferguson also saying that further players will move on this summer.
