Attendance: 5,496

Posh boss Steve Evans saw his side lose their second match on the bounce in what was seen as a must win match against relegation threatened Rochdale.

With Posh sitting in 8th place prior to the match and all four teams around them playing each other, a win would`ve seen them jump back into the play-off places.

Sadly, a disappointing performance and a lack of quality in and around the opposition box proved very costly.

Poor defending on the quarter of an hour mark allowed Rochdale to have their first attempt on target which they converted when George Cooper, on the back post failed to put the ball out for a corner and instead gave the ball away to Ian Henderson who had the easiest of tasks to slot the ball in the room of the net.

Although most Posh fans have given up all hope of making the play-offs, Evans, as you would expect, still believes his side can make it into the top six come the end of the season. However, with just four matches remaining, three away from home, including away matches at promotion chasing sides Blackburn Rovers and Shrewsbury Town, it looks a mightily tough task to achieve it.
