Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson, the son of Manchester United boss Sir Alex, has been named the League Two manager of the month for March after guiding Posh to the top of the table.

Bury’s Alan Knill, MK Dons boss Paul Ince and Stockport boss Jim Gannon were beaten to the gong by Ferguson Jnr who guided the club to an unbeaten month with six victories and two draws from the eight matches played.

Promotion to League One now looks assured, but can this be as Champions?
