I`ve never been one for statistics but it had escaped my attention that Lee Frecklington hadn`t started a Championship game until somebody pointed it out to me.

Apparently Lee has only started in both of our Carling Cup games, fixtures that in stark contrast to the Championship fixtures; are games that we`ve won.

Therefore, is there the hint of a suspicion that perhaps Lee may well start against Crystal Palace?

Speaking about the situation, to the local media, Lee had this to say,

‘I’m at a big club now with better players so competition for places is intense and I’ve had to be patient.”

‘But I feel comfortable at this level and enjoy playing here. Hopefully this result will turn things round for me and the team.’

My money is on Lee to be in that starting eleven on Monday as Darren tries to turn around our fortunes.
