With the entire squad up for sale and not owning their own ground, Peterborough United would not appear to be the most attractive proposition for a Ukranian oil magnate looking to invest in a football club.
But were such an investor to exist, POSH owner Barry Fry has named the price it would cost before he would up and leave London Road.
£1.5m
…which would appear to be higher than the £650k previously quoted last time this story reared its head.
After failing to reach the playoffs this season following relegation last season I find it very unlikely that anyone would want to throw that sort of cash at a club whose average attendances have plummeted in the last three seasons.
But if there were, and they did, then I think POSH would rocket into the ground of favourites for League 2 next season…
We shall see.
