‘I can take the club no further’

After nearly a decade of mud slinging and open hatred, Barry Fry and the fans of Peterborough United are at it again.

Fry has reacted to another round of ‘Fry out’ chants by declaring that he would be willing to leave the club if someone pays him £1.5M.

(This is an increase from the £650k quoted last season)

Fry seethed on local radio that he had a second mortgage on his house to support POSH and if the supporters wanted rid of him so much, they should do the same to raise the money to ‘protect his interests’ in paying him back.

This story comes on the back of new unsubstantiated revelations about the sale of the London Road ground to a property company.

They are now looking to profit from building work at the ground. The cash strapped club are likely to receive nothing.

Fry has told the official website that he ‘cant take the club any further’ whilst adding that the new full time manager would have a reduce budget to work with. This comes after the club admitted it couldn’t afford to appoint a manager until the start of next season, not having the funds available to pay his wages over the summer.
