With Mark Stimson opting for Stevenage Borough it would appear that former Lincoln manager Keith Alexander is now the only true candidate (unless you give credibility to the Clive Woodward/Les Ferdinand dream team rumour) left for the POSH job.
Barry Fry had been keen to leave the appointment until July as a cost cutting measure. But, having seen a number of players leave the club at the end of their contracts he has been forced into a re-think.
He is known to be a long time admirer of Alexander, who has tasted success in this neck of the woods as a FA Vase player with Stamford, and his departure from Lincoln after their play-off semi final defeat may be the key signal.

Take Steve Evans…PLEASE
This rumour was correct then?
I think Alexander will do a good job for you. After his health scares, i hope he’s fully fit and raring to go.
