Peterborough United will be announcing their retained list within the next few days but you`ve been voting on who you would like to stay, be sold, released or loaned out. Find out the results here…

After a very disappointing season which promised so much at the start of the season with Darren Ferguson declaring he had his best ever squad at Posh, the season finished with Ferguson long gone and Posh nothing to play for but pride and a place in the squad for next season.

So how did you vote for each squad player? Should Posh keep them for next season? Do they more experience in which case they should be loaned out or should we just release or sell them?

Here are the results:

Tobi ADEBAYO-ROWLING

Tobi Adebayo-Rowling 2

Tobi Adebayo-Rowling signed his first professional deal with Posh in March this year. The 18-year-old impressed with the Posh Academy and Development teams since signing a youth contract earlier this season after being spotted at Eastbourne Borough’s academy. He has yet to make his debut for Posh.

Ben ALNWICK

Ben Alnwick

Alnwick replaced the popular Bobby Olejnik at the start of the season and has had a mixed season. After a solid start to the season, he picked up an injury but continued to play for a number of weeks which coincided he a slump in form for the keeper. After returning, it took a while for his form to return.

Keep = 91.94%
Sell = 6.45%
Release = 1.61%

Jermaine ANDERSON

Jermaine Anderson

Teenager Anderson, dubbed a future “Yaya Toure” by Darragh MacAnthony, had a mixed season although he played in different midfield positions while Darren Ferguson was in charge. He does look to have potential and played well on occasions but his form was erratic which you can understand for a youngster playing in his first season in the Football League. Ended the season on the sidelines through a long term injury.

Sell = 17.74%
Release = 8.06%
Loan Out = 40.32%

Harry ANDERSON

Harry Anderson v Scunthorpe

Anderson is another 18-year-old who made his debut in the latter stages of the season when Dave Robertson was in charge. As with his namesake Jermaine, Harry has shown potential but his form has fluctuated. He finished the season as a regular in the starting line-up though.

Loan Out = 29.03%

Jack BALDWIN

Jack Baldwin v Notts County

A gifted defender comfortable with the ball at his feet sadly suffered a very bad injury early in the season which is due to keep him out of action for the best part of a year. He is hoping to be fit for pre-season ahead of schedule which is good news for everyone at Posh.

Keep = 93.44%
Sell = 3.28%

Harry BEAUTYMAN

Harry Beautyman applauds the fans as the team comes out v Barnsley

Beautyman signed on loan from Welling United in November after scoring 11 goals in 21 appearances for the Conference club. Sadly that form didn`t transpire to Posh and has struggled to make an impact. Finds himself on the substitutes bench the majority of the time.

Michael BOSTWICK

Michael Bostwick

After being played all over the place by Darren Ferguson since signing from Stevenage in 2012, it was only when Dave Robertson took over that Posh fans saw the best of him. He was a rock in central midfield and he was becoming lethal with his long range shooting.

Keep = 96.77%
Sell = 3.23%
Release = 0%
Loan Out = 0%

Shaun BRISLEY

Shaun Brisley v Fleetwood

Brisley has not set the world on fire but he is a competent defender especially when playing in the centre of a back three. Struggles more in a four man defence which is probably why he`s been sent out on loan numerous times including a stint at Scunthorpe earlier in the season.

Keep = 40.32%
Sell = 45.16%
Release = 11.29%
Loan Out = 3.23%

Christian BURGESS

Christian Burgess

The ex-Middlesbrough player struck up a good relationship while on loan at Hartlepool United alongside Jack Baldwin. He`s comfortable with the ball at his feet but suffers the odd mis-hap which has proved costly. He needs to be more defensively minded though and just clear his lines rather than trying to play the ball out of trouble. He has chipped in with five goals in his 33 appearances this season.

Keep = 64.52%
Sell = 20.97%
Release = 11.29%

Leo DA SILVA LOPES

Leo Da Silva Lopes

The 16-year-old made his full debut in the last home game of the season against Crawley Town. Showed the odd glimpses of skill but with his young age, he was also naïve at times. His second appearance was the last match of the season and he showed much more promise although he did tire quickly.

Keep = 25%
Sell = 0%
Release = 0%
Loan Out = 75%

Jonny EDWARDS

Jon Edwards

Edwards is another 18-year-old who was given his debut under Robertson in the last few games of the season. Two bright substitute appearances earned him a start on the final day of the season. Sadly his youthful exuberance saw him receive a red card which means he will miss the start of next season.

Loan Out = 55%

Kane FERDINAND

Kane Ferdinand v Oldham

Midfielder Ferdinand has rarely impressed during his brief performances for Posh. He did show promise in our last season in the Championship but since we dropped down to League One, his performances have been poor which eventually saw him shipped out on loan to Cheltenham Town who ended up being relegated from the Football League!

Dion CURTIS-HENRY

Dion-Curtis Henry

The back-up for goalkeeper Ben Alnwick is very highly rated and was invited into the senior England training camp at the end of April. He`s only 17-years-old but has shown massive potential.

Luke JAMES

Luke James celebrates with caretaker manager and coaches v Doncaster

Signed on transfer deadline day, James is yet another player who arrived from Hartlepool United. Scored on his debut with a header from a yard out but had to wait until March to claim his second, and first League goal, for Posh. Puts plenty of effort in down the flanks but doesn`t have a striking partner to get on the end of his crosses while he`s rarely a threat in the box.

Keep = 69.35%
Sell = 11.29%
Release = 4.84%
Loan Out = 14.52%

Marcus MADDISON

Marcus Maddison

Maddison made a storming start to his career at Posh scoring 6 goals in his first 12 matches. He has a tendency to fall out very easily, much to the frustration of the Posh fans and no doubt some of his playing colleagues. He was hit by an injury midway through the season and has failed to find that early season form.

Keep = 78.69%
Sell = 16.39%
Release = 0%
Loan Out = 4.92%

Joe NEWELL

Joe Newell battling Mark Little of Bristol City

The player who picked up a hat-trick of end of season awards again flattered to deceive many Posh fans. Many were surprised with the number of awards he received as he often looked sluggish, failed to chase back especially when losing the ball but over the course of the season, he was probably the most consistent player, not that that is saying much!

Kgosi NTLHE

Kgosi Ntlhe

Since breaking his leg at Sheffield Wednesday a couple of seasons ago, Ntlhe has failed to progress and in many cases appear to be going backwards in his performances. He has no challengers for his left back berth which didn`t help.

Erhun OZTUMER

Erhun Oztumer

The Turkish Messi! Signed in the summer but suffered an injury in pre-season which ruled him out for the first few months of the season. He has shown great skill on the ball although he does tend to hold on to the ball too long occasionally. He has a view for a killer pass but unfortunately Posh don`t have anyone up front to capitalise on this threat.

Jack PAYNE

Jack Payne v Coventry

Captain Jack is another player to have suffered an up-and-down season form-wise. Battles away hard but has lost that dynamism he showed when originally signing from Gillingham. Hopefully a new manager can bring back his best form.

Keep = 77.05%
Sell = 19.67%

Ricardo SANTOS

Ricardo Santos and Jack Payne v Leyton Orient

One of a number of players to be played out of position under Ferguson but has since showed under the guidance of Robertson that he is capable of being an excellent central defender. He`s another teenager, he turns 20 in June, that now needs to kick on his career and instead of having one excellent game followed by a poor game, he needs to show more consistency.

Keep = 66.67%
Sell = 6.67%
Release = 3.33%

Michael SMITH

Michael Smith v Barnsley

Hailed by Ferguson as an excellent replacement for the departing Mark Little, Smith has been in and out of form all season plus he`s also had to play in different positions throughout the season which wouldn`t have helped matters. He has shown that he is a more than capable fullback but he also has a tendency to go missing.

Keep = 95.08%
Sell = 4.92%

Jon TAYLOR

Jon Taylor v Doncaster

The exciting winger struggled throughout the season with a niggling knee injury which often forced him to miss games regularly. He only managed to play 25 times this season with just three of those appearances coming in 2015.

Keep = 88.71%
Sell = 11.29%

Kyle VASSELL

Kyle Vassell v Gillingham

The striker struggled to adapt to life in League One last season after signing for Posh in the January transfer window but he hit the ground running at the start of the season. He scored four goals in the first 6 matches before slowing down with one goal in four during the following month. Sadly, another injury picked up on the training ground set back his progress and he never returned to the same sort of form?not that he was given much of a chance. He was farmed out to Oxford at the end of the season on loan.

Conor WASHINGTON

Conor Washington v Scunthorpe

With the departure of Britt Assombalonga, it was claimed Washington would fill the void and break the 20-goal barrier. Sadly he was nowhere near that target and doesn`t look like a striker to fire a side to promotion.

Keep = 75.41%
Sell = 21.31%

Gaby ZAKUANI

Gaby Zakuani v Barnsley

Gaby was re-signed following a short stint away from the club but he was seriously unused by Ferguson. A leave of absence to the African Cup of Nations didn`t help his club career until that is Dave Robertson moved into the hotseat which resulted in Zakuani being re-instated in the backline for every single match. He didn`t let anyone down as he made arguably some of his best performances for the club!
