Wrexham centre-back Nat Knight-Percival has today completed his transfer to Peterborough United.

He has agreed a two-year deal with Posh.

Knight-Percival started out life playing as a winger but it was only when he transferred from Histon to Wrexham in the summer of 2010 did he move to centre-back where he has thrived.

He has been a virtual ever-present this season in a Blue Square Premier Division campaign that finished in a play-off semi-final defeat at the hands of Luton earlier this week.

Speaking to the clubs PUTV, Knight-Percival said: “I am really excited to be a Peterborough United player and I can’t wait to test myself in the Championship.

“I spoke to Dean Keates (a team-mate at Wrexham) and he told me he had one of the best periods of his career at London Road.

“I can’t wait to get started, I am really pleased to be here, it is a massive step up, but I am really looking forward to it.” he said.

Knight-Percival is the third player to sign for Posh since the end of the season. Shaun Brisley and Tyrone Barnett both converted their loans deal into permanent moves.

They are not expected to be the only new players coming in through the London Road doors as boss Darren Ferguson prepares for a second successive year in the npower Championship.
