Vital Football are pleased to announce that this season we will be assisting in giving fans the opportunity to vote in The PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month Awards.

Vital Football are part of the Snack Media set up, and Snack Media are the new digital media partner of the Professional Footballers Association of England and Wales for the next three years and they have been tasked with revamping the PFA’s monthly awards.

With the aim of giving more fans across the UK the opportunity to recognise the best performing player each month, across all four professional tiers, Vital Football will be hosting the voting widget (technical term) moving forward.

The voting process will see each league’s player shortlist go live online for ten hours on consecutive days over a week.

Premier League voting will take place on Tuesdays, with the Championship following on Wednesdays, League One on Thursdays and League Two on Fridays.

Voting will take place between the hours of 10am and 8pm on each day and outside of those hours the ‘voting widget’ will be offline. The winner of each Award will be announced the following day after their respective league voting closes at 9am.

Over those days, and during the voting hours for each division, fans will automatically see the voting widget appear at the bottom of articles on the network.

The shortlists for each vote (six players) will be drawn up with regular panellists from both the PFA and the Snack Media Group and they will be joined by monthly guest panellists which will include former players, managers, officials, journalists, social media influencers and fans themselves.

When the shortlists are finalised, fans will be able to see the panellists reasoning behind their inclusion for that particular month.
