League One impact targeted

Peterborough haven’t yet confirmed promotion out of League Two, but this is merely a formality so League One football is looking odds on. With this in mind Craig Morgan is already targeting the club making an impact in that League next season as he told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: I think with the squad we’ve got, as a team we’re hopefully going to take that league by storm.

‘There are some very hard places to go but we’re confident we can make an impact on the league above.’

Promotion could have been confirmed last Saturday but a 1-0 home defeat to Stockport has put this part on hold. The chances of winning the Title look like they are slipping away but Morgan isn’t giving up on this: ‘The title would be great but, as long as we achieve promotion, I think the season has been a great success and we can hopefully kick on next year,’ he added.

‘The club’s becoming a massive club and we want to take it as far as we possibly can.’

How well do you think Posh can do in League One next season?
