Peterborough United have made enquiries over a League Two player who hit 25 goals this season.

Speaking on Periscope, Posh Chairman Darragh MacAnthony confirmed that they had made an enquiry for Cheltenham Town’s Mo Eisa but the Robins had quoted 7 figures for the player with just one Football League season under his belt!

Eisa only signed for the Robins last summer after hitting 57 goals in 100 appearances for Greenwich Borough and he’s continued his scoring form this season. Eisa made an electric start to his League career and was rewarded with an extended contract lasting until 2020 and is now hot property but will anyone be willing to spend that sort of money?

One thing for certain is that Posh won’t be paying that sort of money after MacAnthony confirmed they weren’t taking their enquiry any further.
