Peterborough United launched their new home kit this week and has been met by mixed reactions.

Mick George with Posh players and Johnstones Paint Trophy at kit launch

At a specially organised event, Posh launched their new home kit in front of 200 Posh fans on Thursday evening.

Prior to a number of current, past and future Posh players walking the catwalk, Darren Ferguson held a question and answer session but it was the new kit the fans had come to see.

With a new sponsor on board in Mick George Skips, it also gave Posh the chance to change their kit for the um-teenth season in a row but the new kit has received a mixed reaction.

It seems to be like marmite with fans either loving it or hating it. Many also believe it will grow on them. The following are a selection of comments on the new kit:

“That blue & white tick looks an awful lot like the Polyfilla logo”

“think its poor that pro club has park kit you could buy from a retailer for half the price. no disrespect to posh at all”

“it looks good and is a smart design”

“I actually like the shirt, its better with the sponsor and badges on than the nude shirt”
