Vital Posh looks at the form of both Peterborough United and Bristol City ahead of the npower Championship clash at London Road.

Peterborough United have had a torrid time since the turn of the year having yet to win a game. Their last win was on Boxing Day away at Nottingham Forest.

Bristol City have been getting decent results at home in 2012, but have lost all four games they`ve played away from home without scoring a goal!

Peterborough United

Posh were looking to build on their recent draw at Burnley when they traveled to Cardiff on Tuesday and if it hadn`t been for a mad seven minutes where they conceded three very poor goals, they could`ve got a result.

That defeat meant Posh have now racked up four defeats and two draws since the start of the year. Their last saw win on Boxing Day means they haven`t won in seven games.

So far this season at home, Posh have won six, drawn two and lost six.

Posh have netted 28 times on home soil this season, conceding 25 goals on the way.

Skipper Grant McCann has lead the scoring charts for Posh for quite a while this season but was caught up by Paul Taylor on Tuesday when he scored a consolation goal for Posh against Cardiff. They have both scored 8 goals this season while Emile Sinclair is just one goal behind them on seven goals.

Posh are currently in 19th place with 34 points from 30 games. Seventeen points off the play-offs and nine points from relegation.

Posh have now gone 105 League games since playing in a goalless draw!!

Bristol City

Bristol City have been struggling all season and although they improved when Derek McInnes was installed as their new manager, they are still just outside the relegation spots.

Although they are picking up regular points at home, City have struggled on their travels having lost the last four away games in all competitions. During that time, they have yet to score a goal! Their last away game of the 2011 saw them pick up an impressive 1-0 at Southampton!

So far this season away from home, Bristol have won four, drawn three and lost nine.

They`ve scored just 13 goals on their travels this season while conceding 26 on the way.

Top League scorer for Bristol is Nicky Maynard with 8 goals so far this season. He moved to West Ham in the recent transfer window though. Brett Pitman and winger Albert Adomah both have five goals.

City are in 21st place with 31 points from 31 games. They are just three points behind Posh and six points ahead of Coventry who occupy the last relegation spot.
