Peterborough United are looking to move away from the relegation zone with a win against Dave Jones` Sheffield Wednesday, live on Sky Sports

Peterborough United -Vs- Sheffield Wednesday
Venue: London Road
Date: 27th April, 2013
Kick-off: 5:20pm

Posh v Sheffield Wednesday

Posh welcome visitors Sheffield Wednesday to London Road as they enter the business end of the season. The Posh have 2 games left to secure their Championship survival, and could move a huge step closer to that goal, with a win in the late kick off against Dave Jones` side.

If Barnsley and Wolves both lose in their 3pm kick offs, Sheffield Wednesday will be safe before the game against Posh. Barnsley welcome promotion chasers Hull City, whilst Wolves host Burnley.

TEAM NEWS

Peterborough United

Posh boss Darren Ferguson is hopeful that centre back Gaby Zakuani (below) will be fully recovered from the dead leg injury he picked up at Derby, so he can take his place at the heart of the Posh defence.

Gabriel Zakuani

Darren Ferguson could also have right back Mark Little, and centre back Michael Bostwick (below) back from injuries that have ruled them out of the last few games. Bostwick has been out since Posh`s 1-0 win at Blackpool, but is expected to return for 2 of the most important games in Posh`s history

Michael Bostwick

Fergie has no other new injury concerns with the only decision being who to start in defence, as Craig Alcock has done a good job since he came in for Michael Bostwick.

Vital Posh predicts the starting line-up will be:

Olejnik

Little, Alcock, Zakuani, Knight-Percival, Rowe

McCann, Payne
Swanson

Tomlin, Gayle

Sheffield Wednesday

Pacey winger Jermaine Johnson (below) is a doubt for the Owls with a hamstring strain. However they are expecting to have forward Gary Madine back at their disposal, following an injury that has kept him out of contention for the last 5 matches.

PREDICTION

It is one of the most important games in Posh`s history, and winning is a MUST. The performance at Derby was very poor but the run before that game of 10 unbeaten was fantastic, and the players will need to produce a performance of that standard if they wish to get something out of the game.

It could be a game that means nothing to Sheffield Wednesday, as if results go their way, they`ll already be safe prior to kick off. 4 points could be enough for Posh, and this game seems to be the easier of the two they have left, so 3 points in this game will make or break their season.

Posh to win: 2 – 1.
