Vital Posh looks at the form of both Peterborough United and West Ham United ahead of the sell-out npower Championship clash.

Posh halted a run of four straight defeats in all competitions when they were unfortunate not to come away from Burnley with all three points. They conceded an equaliser with just three minutes remaining of the match.

West Ham have won four of their last five League matches which has seen them overhaul early pacesetters Southampton. They are now four points clear of the Saints who are currently in second place.

PETERBOROUGH UNITED

After a disastrous January, Posh started February in much better form. Dominating the first half against play-off chasing Burnley, they were unlucky to be just one goal up at the break thanks to a stunning Paul Taylor strike.

The half-time interval definitely benefited the home side as Burnley came out of the blocks with all guns firing. A very good defensive display by Posh nearly saw them hold out for the win, but a moment of poor defending was to let them as Burnley snatched a late equaliser.

So far this season, Posh have won six, drawn two and lost six matches at home.

Posh have netted 28 times at home while conceding 25 goals on the way. Only Southampton have scored more goals at home then Posh.

Top scorer is skipper Grant McCann who has scored 8 goals this season and is closely followed in the scoring chart by Emile Sinclair and Paul Taylor who both have seven goals each.

Posh are currently in 18th place with 34 points from 29 games. Thirteen points off the play-offs and ten points from relegation.

Posh have gone an incredible 104 League games since they last played in a goalless draw!!

WEST HAM UNITED

Having been relegated from the Premiership last season, West Ham were looking to bounce straight back at the first attempt. Sam Allardyce is the man charged with achieving this and it`s definitely a case of so far so good.

Results have been steadily improving and are in an excellent run of form which has seen them go four points clear at the top of the npower Championship.

Since the turn of the year, the team have really kicked on and have won four out of five League matches with the only slip-up being a surprising 5-1 defeat away at lowly Ipswich Town.

So far this season away from home, West Ham have won eight, drawn three and lost just four times.

They`ve scored 22 goals on their travels, conceding 16 on the way.

Top League scorer for the Hammers is Carlton Cole with 9 goals so far this season.

Lying in 1st place with 56 points from 29 games, they are four points clear of 2nd place and nine points clear of the last play-off position.
