A young Peterborough United side went down 3-1 away at Boston United on Tuesday evening.

Peterborough United travelled 36 miles to Boston with a team full of youngsters plus a couple of older transfer listed players but came away with a 3-1 defeat.


Levi Wright, who recently made his debut in the recent friendly against St Neots, scored Posh’s only goal of the game.

Posh have their final pre-season friendly on Friday evening when they take on a Manchester United XI.


Darren Ferguson is expected to pick a strong team as he finalises his starting XI for the Capital One Cup against Southend on Tuesday, 14th August.
