We`re not sure how many of you took our advice and took the kids down to London Road yesterday for a half term treat to see the reserves in action but those who did were in for a surprise.

As well as a return to competitive action for Shane Blackett, you would have been treated to a return to London Road for an old favourite, Micah Hyde.

Micah, who was released via mutual consent, earlier this season is currently having a trial for our opponents yesterday, Luton Town.

At thirty-four years of age here at Vital Posh we`re hoping that Micah can secure that contract he`s after and that he can help the Hatters out of what looks like an impossible situation.

They may, in the loose sense of the word, be considered rivals but nevertheless we don`t like seeing anyone shafted by the authorities especially when the guilty parties had long flown the Hatters nest.
