I guess the script was perfectly set up for Aaron McLean to score the winning goal on Saturday.

Aaron and Hereford have history dating back to when Aaron was an Aldershot player and a kerfuffle saw a Hereford player sent off and subsequently suffer a defeat and ever since that day Aaron has been chastised whenever he`s turned out against Hereford.

His early goal, in the third minute, prompted a celebration we`d not sent before an dafter the game Aaron enlightened us, just a little, as to its meaning, remarking,

“I pretended I was a bull but it was a little bit cheeky as well – I`d better not describe it.”

“I`ve scored here before with Aldershot, the celebration then was me as a bull and a team mate as the matador! I`m not liked here since that play-off. I`m booed every time.”

As for the remaining eighty-seven minutes, Aaron acknowledged that he should have added to this tally commenting,

“I could have had a couple more, maybe on another day they`ll go in.”

Aaron! Save them for Carlisle this Tuesday mate!
