It would appear that after the handbags at ten paces saga whereby Posh and Cambridge United fell out over Scott Rendell, harmony has been restored.
Despite all the bluster relating to Cambridge supposedly reneging on a permanent deal and wanting a loan deal, with Posh suggesting likewise, Cambridge have got their wish.
After scoring 7 goals in 9 games, Rendell will now be spending the rest of this campaign down at the Abbey Stadium after both clubs agreed to extend the loan spell for the rest of this season. Surprisingly, Posh have not inserted a recall clause into the agreement which is a little strange considering the role injuries and suspensions may yet play in our season.
