Thursday, as the loan window closed, must have been a busy day for those who administer all the paperwork needed to successfully conclude a loan deal.

As well as Jamie Day and Ben Wright temporarily (for the moment) moving out of London Road, another of our fringe players, Danny Blanchett, has agreed to extend his loan spell at Hereford by another month.

Blanchett has made ten appearances for Hereford during his previous two months at Edgar Street and the loan extension will see the defender reach the maximum stay allowed, as an emergency loan, of ninety-three days.

I guess, come January, Hereford United will either have to negotiate a permanent deal with Posh or lose him for good.

Here at Vital Posh we hope his extended loan period continues to be a success for the lad.
