It could be worse, he could have slagged off the fans!

Failed Bids Agogo

No we haven’t bid for Junior Agogo yet. But it is only a matter of time I suppose.

Call me cynical but I just can’t see the marketing and pr benefits of bidding stupid money for players who are never likely to join the club?!

Darragh MacAnthony is clearly ambitious, but I would have though his business sense would have revealed to him that making bids left right and centre would just alert other clubs to put their prices up when POSH come calling.

If local rumour is to be believed, it isn’t just Knight and McLeod who have been targeted. But you would only laugh at the third name if I told you anyway (unless you already know, in which case you probably haven’t stopped).

So what should he do?

I think the way out of this league is to get players in with a proved record at this level. Nothing more complicated than that.

KS vs The fans

So Keith Alexanders hate-hate relationship with the London Road crowd continues.

After a lame performance by his team at Wycombe he was abrupt with Radio Cambs commentator Edwin Overland before referring to the POSH support as ‘those damn fans’.

I am sure there would have been more uproar, but after the ‘sponging ponces’ quote from the former manager and current director of football it all seems water of a ducks back for the majority of the support.

Club Shop in stock shock…

A Luton fan contacted me back in August to say POSH would regret chosing Diadora as their kit make for this season.

The new shirts are smart, there is no doubt about that, but the shop has never had a supply of them.

They are filtering through now but not in the sort of quantities that will make POSH fans happy this Christmas.

More revenue lost.
