Thankfully, we have the perfect opportunity to get the shock defeat against Huddersfield out of our system quickly when we visit Brighton on Tuesday evening, that is, weather permitting.

However, the manner in which we failed to get going on Saturday, particularly in the first half, was picked up on by George Boyd who remarked,

“We just didn`t play in the first half and the gaffer wasn`t happy.”

“We got the ball a lot more in the second half but it still wasn`t good enough. Teams around us at the top end of the table won and we cannot afford any more slip-ups.”

We certainly cannot, the good work of midweek was, in the end, all for nothing!
