As the storm clouds gather over London Road and we fight with Ipswich Town for that bottom spot in the Premier League, there is a ray of sunshine beaming down.

George Boyd, whose form is starting to see him linked with Premier League clubs, has spoken about our predicament echoing the words that under-fire Darren Ferguson keeps uttering but also throwing us a few crumbs of comfort when he remarks,

“We were on top but we keep making the same mistakes.”

“It`s a bad situation to be in, but there`s no way we`ll be relegated.”

Let`s hope you are right George because plenty of teams better than us have ended up being relegated!
