On Anglia TV tonight Darren Ferguson spoke poignantly about making the most of the recent international break.

Interestingly, following the last international break Posh went on an unbeaten three game run, something similar would be most welcome this time around.

Darren also mentioned that the flood of games resumes with a game each Saturday being followed by a midweek fixture which means our plight could change dramatically in a matter of weeks.

Talking to the local media, Darren emphasised just how important the next four games are, remarking,

‘It’s a big few weeks for us. These two away games will be tough, but we have shown at QPR and Leicester that we are capable of picking up points on our travels.”

‘And then its two home games against teams who should finish around us in the table from which we will be expected to get six points.”

‘If we can get that first away win before then, that will give us a boost. City have been going well at home, but what I have seen in the first 11 matches has just reinforced my view that we will be okay at this level.

‘We are obviously not in a good position, but we should have more points because our performances have not been that bad.”

Although, in the match preview I tipped a Posh win, those that support Bristol City have been quick to point out that they have a formidable home record but, like Darren, I`m confident!
