Peterborough United have officially confirmed a pre-season with a Manchester United XI.
In what was one of the worst kept secrets, a Manchester United team will travel to face Posh on Friday 10th August at London Road.
It is an ‘XI’ which means the Red Devils team is expected to feature a mixture of first team players and reserve team players. It could also feature Ryan Tunnicliffe who spent over half of last season on loan at Posh.
No details have yet been released regarding ticket prices but this, along with when the tickets will go on sale, will be announced soon.
Posh and Manchester United have met on three occasions in recent pre-seasons with Posh managing just one goal compared to Uniteds 11!
