Well Darragh MacAnthony fulfilled his pledge to appoint a new manager by the weekend!
The trouble is that for the life of me I cannot accept we`ll be any better of with untried Mark Cooper in charge than a man who led us to back-to-back-promotions in the last two seasons, Darren Ferguson.
Cooper, who signed a three and a half year deal after deciding to leave Kettering Town, may well come with glowing references but he`s still something of a virgin when it comes to managing in the Football League.
Although I`m putting on a brave face I cannot help but feel this is the beginning of the journey back into League One!
