You may have noticed that our current poll asks something of a topical question.
I say topical because it focuses on the potential future of our manager Darren Ferguson.
Now, back on that glorious afternoon when promotion was achieved, you`d have got long odds on Darren leaving but now I`m not so sure.
Previously we`ve put up with polite chit-chat relating to Queens Park Rangers possibly looking towards recruiting Darren, but now they`re coming out in droves with Reading and Wigan showing apparent interest.
Out of the two Reading, if we read the vibes correct, present the biggest threat.
If we`re reading (no pun intended) the vibes correctly, then it appears that Darren was refused permission to talk to them.
Now if true, we`d expect Darren to be miffed, although to be fair, Darragh MacAnthony, if I recall right, had always said nothing less than a Premier League enquiry would allow him to even contemplate accepting Darren as possibly wanting to leave.
So, as the wheels grind away we`re left to contemplate losing our manager, a fact that fills me with dread.
Part of our huge success has always been the fact that we`re like one big happy family, please Darren, and I say this on behalf of all Posh supporters, don`t walk out on us, we`d all be heartbroken!
