Following the defeat to Plymouth Argyle and ahead of the clash with Nottingham Forest this Saturday, Posh manager, Darren Ferguson, has been talking to the local media about his team selections.

With regards to the shock dropping of Gabriel Zakuani, Darren had this to say to the local media,

‘Gaby’s a good lad and a terrific professional. Of course he was disappointed to be left out and to be honest I’d have a problem if he wasn’t.”

‘He’s been a fantastic player for this team and he has never given me a problem.”

‘He is a big part of what we are trying to do here.”

Glad to hear that Gaby does have a future at London Road. However many Posh supporters were a little surprised that in his absence it wasn`t Krystian Pearce who started, a fact appreciated by Darren who responded,

‘Krystian Pearce was also disappointed that I didn’t pick him and he must be wondering what he has to do to get a game.

‘But sometimes you pick a specific team to suit the opposition and that’s what I did the other night.”

So, with regards to Saturday, what can we expect?

Darren was giving no clues away but offered the following,

“I know the team I’m going to play against Forest in my head.”

Anyone care to second guess it?
