Posh enter the fixture against Leicester City buoyed by a winning run of five consecutive games.

Those five games have seen Posh clamber into second place and narrow the gap between ourselves and Leicester City to seven points.

They`ve also ensured that automatic promotion is on our own hands now, there is no need to rely on others.

Ahead of the clash, Darren Ferguson has reminded everyone of that dark day when we lost 4-0 remarking,

‘Let’s be honest about it, they embarrassed us on that occasion. They played very well and we didn’t play at all.”

‘I wouldn’t say we are seeking revenge, but we do want to set the record straight. We are a much better side than we showed then.”

However, the presence of such a large international fixture programme has helped Posh as Leicester will be without several key players which Darren acknowledges, commenting,

‘They will be missing players this Saturday which helps, but they have such a strong squad I doubt they will be much weaker than normal.”

‘They are top of the league for a reason, but we are confident we can get a good result.’

Like I said in an earlier article, the juices are running and I can`t wait.
