With Mark Cooper shaping the squad as he sees fit and with a relegation battle firmly in our mindset, one of our defenders has been loaned out to Dagenham and Redbridge.

Jamie Day, who has had awful luck with injuries, has moved to the Essex side on a month long deal.

With recent defensive signings further diminishing Day`s hopes of regular first team football it seems a move that should benefit all parties.

The Dagenham manager, John Still, has commented about the signing,
‘Jamie is a very talented left-back who can also play on the wing.
‘He will bring both experience and quality to our squad.’

We wish Jamie well during his loan period.
