It`s the news we`ve all been hoping for!

Gabriel Zakuani has, according to various sources, agreed personal terms with Posh and will become a Posh player during the January transfer window.

Apparently, the defender who has yet to be in losing Posh side, has agreed a three and a half year deal.

Darren, speaking to the local radio station, Radio Cambridgeshire, has remarked,

‘Gabby’s agreed he’s going to sign permanently, we’ve just got to iron out a few things.”

‘It’s a big signing for the club and shows where we want to go.’

But, there is a down side. Because of the current rules, Zakuani, whose loan spell expires on December 13th cannot move until January 1st and will therefore miss the games against Leicester, Millwall and Cheltenham.

Returning to the signing though, Darren Ferguson had this to say about the defender,

‘He’s an out and out defender, very good at one on ones, but he also knows he can improve.”

Welcome to London Road, on a permanent basis, Gaby!
