Posh – Dickinson on Survival!

It`s amazing how spirits can be lifted by two successive wins!

Having put Watford to the sword on Saturday, the mood in the camp is probably as good as it has been all season and all thoughts are now being concentrated on pulling off a mission impossible.

Liam Dickinson, picked up on loan by Jim Gannon, has stepped forward to give us the players views on what the inner belief in the camp currently is and the chances of survival, has remarked,

“Do I believe in miracles? Definitely. It can happen. The margin is getting narrower and there`s more hope there and the lads are starting to believe we can get out of it.”

“It would be a massive achievement.”

“The gap is down to eight points now and I think we can get a maximum of thirty so we`re taking it one step at a time. We know it`s a big ask but we can just do what we can do.”

“I think the pressure`s off because we`ve been written off. The Gaffer said last week he thinks we`re relegated.”

“But I think the main aspect of that was to take the pressure off us.”

“It would be nice to prove him wrong.”

It`d be nice to prove the press wrong, it`d be great to prove Jim Gannon wrong but most importantly of all, wouldn`t survival be fantastic for everybody associated with our fine football club?

And as for that exquisite goal, we`ll let Liam have the last wood on that when he comments,

“I also don`t think I`ve scored a goal as good as that.”

If Beckham had of scored it we`ve no doubt it would have been replayed dozens of times by now!
