Although the outcome was all too familiar on Saturday, there`s no denying that Posh put on a gutsy display.

In fact many a neutral would probably concur with the opinion that a draw would have been a fairer result.

Indeed, that would probably have been the outcome if George Boyd had of slotted home that penalty in the second half.

They say, when faced with taking a spot kick, you should remain focused, pick a spot but most importantly never change your mind.

However, despite putting in a great display, George Boyd openly admitted he was guilty of that crucial last option when he admitted after the fixture,

“I was going to go left, and I should have gone where I normally go.”

You certainly should have George, you certainly should have!
