Posh Draw Newport In Semi-Final
Peterborough United have been drawn away at Newport County in the semi-final of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy.
The draw for the semi-final of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy was made live on Soccer AM on Sky Sports today [Saturday, 16th November].
Posh avoided local rivals Stevenage but face a long trip to Wales to face a League Two side containing former Posh striker Danny Crowe. Newport County are hovering around the play-off places in League Two and will hope their good form this season can help them take the scalp of Posh.
The full draw is as follows:
SOUTHERN SECTION
Newport County v Peterborough United
Swindon Town v Stevenage
NORTHERN SECTION
Fleetwood Town v Rotherham United
Oldham Athletic v Chesterfield
Matches will take place during the week commencing 9th December.
