News has filtered through that at the ‘Annual General Meeting` of Football League Clubs, a proposition by Derby County, has been approved.

For Coca-Cola Football League matches, clubs will now be able to select 7 substitutes with any three being allowed to be used during the game.

Seems sensible to be able to follow the lead set by the Premier League doesn`t it.

However, we do suspect it`ll be the end of clubs being brave and not selecting a substitute keeper.
