Football League sponsors Sky Bet make Peterborough United favourites to beat rivals MK Dons in the first League One match at London Road this season.
Posh and MK have enjoyed a bitter rivalry over the last few years and they both enjoyed opening day success last weekend.
Posh couldn`t keep the winning run going in midweek when suffered a 1-0 reverse at Portsmouth in the Capital One Cup despite fielding as strong a team as they could while Pompey made six changes from their opening League match!!
MK followed up their League win with a resounding 3-1 victory over the “real Dons” AFC Wimbledon.
Despite the midweek results, Sky Bet believe Posh will have the upper hand and have made them favourites to beat MK at London Road.
Posh are 11/10 to beat MK with the Dons priced at 12/5 for the victory. The draw is also priced at 12/5.
Looking at the correct score odds, 1-1 is the favourite result at 5/1 with a 1-0 Posh win second favourite at 7/1. The lowest odds for an MK win is 10/1 for a 1-0 and 2-1 victory.
The poll being run by Vital Posh to predict the Posh v MK Dons score has a 3-0 Don`s victory as the current favourite prediction with 31% of the vote! This scoreline would get you odds of 40/1!
A Posh 1-0 win is the second favourite prediction which has odds of 7/1.

With the loss of last seasons top scorer Britt Assombalonga, there is very little to choose between the current front pairing. Conor Washington is the favourite to score the first goal of the game priced at 11/2 while Kyle Vassell is close behind with odds of 6/1. They are priced at 6/4 and 7/4 respectively to score at any time in the 90 minutes.
MK Dons have been scoring for fun this season with seven goals in two matches and it is Will Grigg who has the lowest odds for an MK player to score the first goal of the game. He is priced at 13/2 while he`s 2/1 to score at any point in the match.
