Football League sponsors Sky Bet have installed Peterborough United as favourites to beat their visitors Charlton Athletic in the League One clash today.

Posh v Charlton - Sky Bet EFL L1

Peterborough United v Charlton Athletic
Location: ABAX Stadium
Date: Saturday, 10th March, 2018
Kick-off: 15:00pm

Posh have been installed as favourites to beat the Addicks in a clash between two sides sitting just outside the play-offs but a win by either side could, results permitting, see them move into a play-off place.

Will the new manager effect give Posh the edge over the side that is one point and one place above them but who have a game in hand on Posh?

The Addicks did lose their last match two-nil which was at home against high-flying Shrewsbury Town but they were on a three match unbeaten run prior to that. Away from home, they`ve had a very mixed set of results with 6 wins from 15 League games while drawing 4 games and losing 5.

At home, Posh have also had a mixed bag of results winning nine of their 17 League matches while losing six times. They have shared the points on just two occasions at home!

Will the match with the Addicks be the third home League draw of the season just as the reverse fixture ended in a two-all draw?

Football League sponsors Sky Bet have odds of 5/2 for the draw with Posh at 5/4 for the win with the Addicks at 2/1.

Can Posh win their first match under the guidance of new boss Steve Evans? Predict the Posh v Addicks score HERE.

Nine different predictions have so far been voted for with three of them for a Posh victory, five for an Addicks win and one draw. The favourite prediction so far is a two-one Addicks win which has picked up 32% of the votes which is closely followed by a one-nil Addicks victory and a two-nil Posh victory. You can get odds of 10/1, 9/1 and 10/1 respectively for those scores.

Last season at the ABAX Stadium, Posh hit two late goals through Martin Samuelsen and a stunning chip from Marcus Maddison [below] to secure all three points against the Addicks.

Can Posh repeat their victory this season or will the Addicks collect a victory that would seriously dent the play-off hopes of Posh? The bookies certainly think Posh can pick up the win but what do you think the score will be?
