Posh – February Augers Well?

If January had a tinge of disappointment about it courtesy of those two away defeats, at Leeds United and Leicester City, February, it he weather permits, has the potential to be a better month as we try and home in on one of those automatic promotion places.

We face six League One matches and our opposition for those matches come from the lower reaches of the table. Indeed, on paper, the strongest opposition we play is Tranmere Rovers who are in 10th place.

However, as Darren Ferguson has previously preached, now is also not the time for complacency ad those teams in the lower half of the table are not going to roll over and let us take the three points easily.

Nevertheless it does give us the perfect opportunity to cement our ambitions an dif asked I`m sure those in charge of affairs at London Road would prefer to play opposition that isn`t considered a rival in our quest to gain back-to-back promotions.
