Thankfully, we have very little time to dwell on the defeat at Elland Road on Saturday, we have Crewe to face at London Road, in a crucial fixture this Tuesday.

However, it can`t be ignored as it was mistakes that cost us dearly, the most serious coming from our normally reliable keeper, Joe Lewis.

It`s a point touched on by Darren Ferguson in his post match appraisal when he remarked,

“A loss of concentration from Joe cost us.”

“He made some good saves, but he is there to do a job and made a mistake.”

“It shows how far we have come that we are bitterly disappointed with a defeat at Elland Road.”

Let`s hope Joe bounces back on Tuesday night and produces his usual calm and assured performance.
