Posh – Ferguson Charged!

Following on from the fallout after our 3-2 defeat to West Bromwich Albion, on Tuesday night, a defeat in which many would suggest we were blatantly robbed of an equaliser by a dodgy refereeing decision, our boss, Darren Ferguson, has been charged by the Football Association for the use of abusive language.

Apparently, in the tunnel afterwards, Darren used a few choice words that most of us might have thought of uttering, a few choice words that seemingly upset the match official – so much for the truth never hurting anyone.

The FA statement, surrounding the charge reads,

“Ferguson`s charge relates to the use of abusive language towards the referee.”

Darren has a relatively short time to debate the matter as he has to respond by Tuesday with a probable hearing set for ten days later.

Perhaps he can have a word with his dad, a veteran of many such charges, for advice!
