Darren Ferguson has always struck me as a decent kind of bloke, the sort of manager that is honest and is prepared to give his players a chance.

When promotion was achieved, at the back end of last season, there was the fear that Posh would go mad and recruit several new names. Thankfully, that doesn`t look as it will be the case as Darragh MacAnthony has spilled the beans on a chat he had with Darren, following promotion, where he`s remarked,

‘I know some fans wanted bigger signings but I sat with the gaffer after the season ended and asked him what he needed and the list was short. He wants to stay loyal to many of the players who have brought us success.’

Hopefully those same players will reward the gaffer and Posh will be sitting pretty in the Championship with a glittering future ahead of us.
