Winners rarely come more dramatic than in the 86th minute do they?

Up at Boundary Park it was beginning to look like the spoils were to be shared until Craig Mackail-Smith popped up with the winner, admittedly Posh rode their luck a little but on such slices of luck successful promotion campaigns are built.

With five games to go, the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter and the pressure is mounting but, as Darren Ferguson mentions in his post match interview, the pressure is not only on us when he remarked,

“It was an extremely difficult game and we got the rub of the green with the winner.”

“Games are running out for the other teams. All apart from Leicester won today and when they see our win it might deflate them.”

A win, this Friday, against Cheltenham could see Posh go a long way to realising that dream and further deflating those chasing us.
