The games are coming thick and fast at this time of the year.

After losing 4-0 to Leicester it was essential that we got back on track and the 1-0 win, over Millwall on Boxing Day, saw three points harvested.

With games to follow at Cheltenham, on Sunday, and away to West Bromwich Albion the following Saturday in the FA Cup, it`s essential confidence remains high in the camp.

After the victory over Millwall, Darren Ferguson spoke about the relief at beating Millwall and also on laying to rest the Boxing Day hoodoo that hadn`t seen us win since 1996.

Here`s what Darren had to say,

“It was much needed after losing 4-0 at Leicester. It was good to get that Boxing Day bogey out of the way.”

It certainly was Darren but what makes it sort of really strange is that back in 1996, when we celebrated that last Boxing Day win it was against, yes, you`ve guessed it – Millwall!
